Saturday Sampling - I Married A Stroke Survivor

I added a permanent page to this blog last week and I wanted my readers, old and new, to be made aware of it.  So I'm taking advantage of the Saturday Sampling blog hop from Half-Past Kissin' Time to highlight it this weekend.  I hope you will be glad that I did.

The page shares a small part of the most wonderful, amazing and inspired love story of which I am aware.

It also explains, in part, why I created this blog and where I find inspiration for the cards I create.  It also  might explain why I am so passionate about the need for wives to respect their husbands.

Wow, what a great story. I became aware of your site through Mrs. 4444 - she's such a powerful blogger. Thanks for your City of New Orleans comments. I haven't heard the Steve Goodman version but will seek it out as well as the Pirates of Lincoln Park song. Two weeks ago I posted a City of Los Angeles article on my site which had triggered the CONO references. Then I found this 1966 timetable from the Illinois Central that contains the CONO! What luck. I can't get the song out of my head now for two weeks. Good morning America how are you?

You are so right--and respect for men is something that doesn't get a lot of respect these days. In fact--I've even seen the thought laughed at!! It's taken me a long time (and I'm still working on it) but I'm striving to be the biggest support system and shower of respect my husband has.

Can I get an Amen?
